HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
In partnership with the OECD, the Annual Public Service Commissioners’ Conference, the Secrétariat du Conseil du trésor du Québec and the Secrétariat aux affaires intergouvernementales canadiennes, L’Observatoire de l’administration publique is conducting a research project on human resource management in the Canadian public sectors (federal, provincial and territorial governments). This research project is part of the “Public administration in Canada” research program conducted by L’Observatoire which is aiming at comparing public administrations within Canada.
As part of the research project on human resource management, a first data collection was done in 2011-2012 with a questionnaire based on the works of the OECD. The questionnaire was sent to the delegates at the Annual Public Service Commissioners’ Conference (bringing together senior public servants of the central organizations responsible for human resources management in the federal government and the provincial and territorial governments in Canada). The results of this survey are available in the following database, which contains all the answers given by the delegates.
